Knitters' Book Club  will meet Tuesday, August 26th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The next selection is Thyme of Death by Susan Wittig Albert. Non-knitters welcome, too!

Mystery Book Club usually meets the 4th Thursday of the month. Next meeting - August 28, 2014,  6:45 - 7:45 pm.

Ex Libris Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11am in the Adult Program Room. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 9th. The selection is Keeping Faith : a novel by Jodi Picoult.

Zinio is a mixed service - the library has purchased 50+ magazine subscriptions for our card holders.  Zinio also sells magazine subscriptions individually. To use the Library's Zinio collection, click on the link above to set up an account and to download magazines from the Bourne Public Library Collection. Once logged in to Zinio, switch back to the "Return to Library Collection" tab or window on your browser to download more titles.  We have a number of magazines to choose from, including Us Weekly, Runner's World and Men's Health.  The Zinio app will work as a reader with your Android device, tablet, I-phone, and other mobile devices.  Check out all the great magazines today.  You will need a valid Bourne Library CLAMS card to access the titles.  Click here for a users guide on how to set up your account. Please Note: Consumer Reports, BBC Good Food Magazine and Android are no longer offered by Zinio for library subscription.  The library has also cancelled subscriptions on some journals that are not heavily used.  Back issues are still available and are noted on the list of journals.

Job Seekers Program - Upcoming Workshops
Job Seeker Mondays have been rescheduled.

New Sessions of our Job Seekers grant workshops will meet in September.  All sessions begin at 10:00 a.m. and registration is required as space is extremely limited.  

September 8 - Strategic Path to Employment - How to prepare yourself for the job search ahead.  There is more to it than just a resume and interview.

September 15 - Career Change - For those starting over or looking to change careers later in life, this workshop is for you.  Hands on workshop so users must be comfortable using computers. 

September 22 - Online Applications - Most job postings are found online and applications are done the same.  Come look at some great resources to help you find that new job and get tips on how to make your online application shine.
