Have you checked out the new Boston Bruins Reading Rink in the JBPL Children's Room? The Jonathan Bourne Library was one of only a few libraries in the state to win this furniture through a generous grant provided by the Boston Bruins and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
Victorian Christmas Tea

Join us December 1, 2011 for a 6pm Tea Time lead by Ron and Donna Lasko.
Experience the joy of the holiday season and be immersed in Victorian tradition and fun at the Jonathan Bourne Library.
Tickets are $15.00 per person. Advance purchase only. Ages 5 and older.

BOOK CLUBS for KIDS
Wednesdays this fall at 4pm
Book Clubs for kids!1st Grade - Meets 1st Wednesday of each month.
Next meeting will be on November 2nd. Children may read any Easy reader book or any Bill Peet book.
2nd - 3rd Grades - Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Next meeting will be on November 9th. Students may read any Boxcar Children Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner. Please note: for the December meeting project students should bring in 1/2 yard of patterned fleece, 1/2 yard solid color fleece and sharp scissors for cutting fabric.
4th - 6th Grades - Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The next meeting is on November 16th. 4th - 6th graders may read My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George.
Please note: for the December meeting project students should bring in 1 yard of patterned fleece, 1 yard of solid color fleece and sharp scissors or pinking shears for cutting fabric.
