FRIENDS OF THE JONATHAN BOURNE PUBLIC LIBRARY
Every library needs support, assistance, and input from the community in order to respond to its changing needs - that's what FRIENDS are for.
The FRIENDS is an association of people like you who realize the vital need for community library services, programs, and materials. There is no limit to what an enthusiastic, dedicated group of FRIENDS can provide. The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the library, its resources and services, encourage the use of the library by all ages through promotion of innovative programs, and to provide funding for added resources, services , and equipment not made available through the normal budget or capital outlay appropriated by the town.

Become a Friend of the JBPL, Inc.
By becoming a FRIEND you have the opportunity to meet new people, become involved in an active part of the community, and participate in the preparation of special events that can be enjoyed by the entire community.
As a FRIEND you also obtain the right to vote and potentially to hold executive office within the organization.

Membership Fees
Senior Citizen (65 and older) - $10.00 annually
Individual Membership - $15.00 annually
Family Membership - $25.00 annually
Lifetime Membership - $50.00

Library Building Project
During these tough financial times, the Trustees of the Jonathan
Bourne Public Library are not actively pursuing a library
building/renovation project. Funds collected remain in CD's and savings
for a future program.
