Book Clubs at the JBPL

Knitters' Book Club  will meet Tuesday, July 28th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The next selection is Out of the Storm by Kevin Symmons. Non-knitters welcome, too!

Mystery Book Club usually meets the 4th Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be - July 23rd,  6:45 - 7:45 pm.
Next selection: A Wanted Man : a Jack Reacher Novel by Lee Child. New members always welcome.

Ex Libris Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11am in the Adult Program Room. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 14th. The next selection to be discussed is The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty.

meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2pm. This month the club will be discussing Still Life With Breadcrumbs by Anna Quindlen.

Escape the Ordinary - Meet the Authors at the Jonathan Bourne Public Library
Tuesday, July 7th at 7:00 p.m. JBPL Meeting Room

Our guest on July 7th is Kathleen Kanavos, author of Surviving Cancerland : Intuitive Aspects of Healing.

This book reveals Kathleen's own story of her medical odyssey with cancer that took her and her loved ones on a seemingly endless roller-coaster ride of fear and frustration, hope and healing, and profound spiritual growth.

Concerts on the Lawn - Cerise and the Charlie Jamieson Trio
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 7:00pm - JBPL Memorial Garden

  Four piece band including piano, bass, drums and voice performing songs from the great American songbook and their own repertoire of Latin, Blues and Jazz.  Cerise returns to the JBPL with the Charlie Jamieson Trio to blow you away with their music while, at the same time, sooth your soul.  A donation to the Bourne Food Pantry is your ticket into the show.  Bring a blanket, bug spray and picnic dinner to enjoy and help us make this the biggest year yet for the concerts.  (Concert is held inside the library if weather does not cooperate..)

Wireless Printing now available at the JBPL!
There are 2 easy ways to print from your laptop, tablet, or mobile device. You can send a print job straight from your email or use to upload your print job once you’ve registered for an OCS account. Once you submit a print job using one of the options, jobs will be held for 2 hours and can be released at the print release station located near the public copy machine/printer.
